Message from the Principal

Principal’s message:

At RLE, “We will be a School of Excellence!” Our priority is to ensure that every student achieves success by building their foundations academically and socially.  The school’s mission encompasses the whole learner and our desire to ensure that each child is successful in life.  We set high expectations for our teachers, staff, and students and strive to provide each child with the best education possible.  Our students make us proud each and every day by showing us growth both academically and socially.  Thank you for sharing your children with us.  Together, we can accomplish great things for our children at Raceland Lower Elementary.

We will have our first school wide family/child activity where our literacy night "Goes Camping". Please come out and join us on October 18 at 6pm and enjoy some activities to make/play with your child. We will also have hot dogs and chili that you MUST purchase ahead of time. We will end out night under the tent and stars reading a story. Please fill out the blue card sent home with your child and return to school. You must pay in advanced for hot dogs and water if you plan to eat with us.
